So a long overdue piece, here's my design of Robin colored.

Ooh, I like that. The detailing on the boots and gloves is cool, and the addition of the hood is great- I'm hoping it actually offers the poor boy some head protection? ;P I love the feathered effect on the bottom of the cape, too. The little tri-collar thing is interesting- I get where the green and red comes from, but I don't see where the yellow part comes from. The "R" clasp for the cape is a nice touch. I love the coloring as well: the lack of any real outlines, per se, is interesting, especially given how used we are to seeing the black outlines in comic-related media, but it gives it a very interesting look, especially around the face.

I think his torso and thighs might be a little too skinny, though.

Thanks :)
Umm, I honestly gave him the hood more as a identity concealer instead of a head protector.
The yellow pretty much comes from the cape and the "R", I just expanded it a little more around the costume.
As for the black outlining, I've never really been good at it, so I don't really use it.
I've found that I tend to draw characters skinny, probly because I'm skinny myself, and out of all the Titans I designed, I sorta used myself as a base for him.:p

Nice... I really like the costume design itself, particularly the hood which nicely helps address Robin only wearing a domino mask in his typical incarnation vs Batman's full cowl. I also like the feathery cape and the color choice is excellent.

Thanks :)
The hood with the feather cape was the main thing I wanted, after that, I just sorta thought what would look good and I tried incorporating the trunks so that they don't look too much like underwear.
I also wanted to texturize the cape, but couldn't get the right look. Maybe I'll get back to it another time.
While I like the current Robin costume, I've always been a fan of it having red, yellow, and green.

Me too. I think having it colorful is a nice balance for Batman, and that to me is the whole dramatic point of the character. What kind of texture did you have in mind for the cape?
